It comes three years after the reality TV personality tragically lost his daughter Azaylia at just eight months old after a battle with leukaemia. The former footballer, 33, took to Instagram on Sunday, 4 August to share highlights from the weekend spent with his adorable son, Aliyas, who he welcomed in January this year .
Ashley shared a series of photos alongside his son as they went swimming and spent some special quality time together. Ashley captioned the post: "Now I'm back, the weekends only mean 1 thing. Beast Mode - OFF, Daddy Mode - ON.
" In the snaps, the proud dad smiled as he poured water above his son who tentatively looked up from his inflatable. Other heartwarming moments showed Ashley holding Aliyas in the water as they splashed around and played in the children's swimming pool. Ashley's joy at spending time with his baby son didn't go unnoticed by fans as one commented: "I know that smile @mrashleycain that’s a smile of pure love that only our kids can bring out.
