NEW DELHI: National Conference (NC) vice president Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that the abrogation of the Article 370 was a parliamentary decision, not a decision taken by God and can potentially be reversed. Speaking on Tuesday, Abdullah said "Nothing is impossible,” suggesting that parliamentary decisions, including those made by a future Supreme Court bench, can be altered. Abdullah said, "It was not God's decision but that of Parliament.

Abdullah's comments came in response to Shah's statement made at an election rally in Jammu on Monday, where the home minister said that Article 370, which granted special autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir , is now a historical relic and will not be reinstated.

Abdullah also criticised the BJP-led central government for the surge in terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. "It has been six years that the control has been with the central government. If terror attacks are occurring, if yatris are attacked in Reasi, if armed forces and officers are being targeted, who is responsible?" he said, holding the central administration responsible for the recent uptick in violence.

The NC leader also challenged Shah to address the issue of rising terrorism in the region, saying that the BJP should be answerable for the escalation in .
