Photo by Ottawa Police Service Article content A 41-year-old Ottawa woman has been charged by the Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit in relation to a series of fires over the past month. A map released by the police service Monday shows the locations of 10 fires that occurred in the ByWard Market, Lower Town and Sandy Hill areas.

Cassandra Mary Jodoin has been charged with three counts of arson disregard for human life, 10 counts of arson damage to property, 10 counts of possession of incendiary materials and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Jodoin made a court appearance on Oct. 17 and was held in custody pending a bail hearing, police said in a news release.
