A child flagged down police after being robbed at knifepoint earlier today. The youngster flagged down the officer near Booth Road in Little Lever, who said their high value electric mountain bike had been stolen. Within minutes police were able to track the bike to an address in Great Lever.
The property was searched and a male arrested. A spokesman for GMP Bolton South said: “ The male arrested on suspicion of theft remains in custody for questioning by the Bolton South Neighbourhood Team, and thanks to the swift actions by neighbourhood officers, the electric mountain bike has now been recovered and is on its way back to its rightful owner.”.
