(KNWA/KFTA) — A few Northwest Arkansas and River Valley high school basketball teams brought home state championship titles this weekend.The Farmington Cardinals girls basketball team defeated Greene County Tech 54-44 to win the 5A state title.

The Grizzlies secured their first state title since 2021 in the regional rivalry match-up.On the boy's side, Springdale fell to Bryant in the 6A championship.Despite strong individual performances from three Springdale players, including 4-star Arkansas signee Isaiah Sealy, Bryant came from behind to win 69-59 after trailing by three points at halftime.
