THE wait is almost over for Ariana Grande’s British fans – as I’m happy to report she is about to perform over here again for the first time in five years. I can reveal she is is currently in the early stages of planning a mini tour with a scattering of giant gigs around the globe. Her last gruelling trek, 2019’s Sweetener World Tour , saw her on the road for ten months and playing 97 arena-sized shows.

A source said: “Ariana really wants to get out there and perform for her fans but at the same time she hates life on the road. “It may sound glamorous touring the world but in reality it can be draining and you don’t actually get to see much of the world. “Right now plans are in their early stages but Ariana is determined to play a series of shows in 2025.

“One option that’s on the table is to do a handful of stadium gigs - that way tens of thousands of her supporters can see her without her having to do night after night after night at smaller arenas. “She’s never done UK stadium shows before. If she does it almost certainly would be at Wembley and then the Etihad up in Manchester.

” Ariana managed to stay pretty much off-radar as she relocated to London for more a year while filming upcoming film blockbuster Wicked. She will play Glinda The Good Witch in the big-screen adaption of hit West End musical. At the time she was living with husband Dalton Gomez - with their 2023 breakup inspiring her latest record Eternal Sunshine.
