Since making his debut in Indian showbiz with Bigg Boss 17 , K-pop singer Aoora has been steadily working towards his goal of establishing himself in the music industry. Known for his captivating performances of popular Bollywood songs, Aoora is inching closer to his dreams with each step. He recently collaborated with Indian singer Sireesha Bhagavatula on the track Thi Thi Thara , a recreation of a Malayalam folk song.

Aoora shares, “I had always wanted to recreate a South Indian folk song, and that’s when I came across the Malayalam boat song, a popular Onam tune. Thi Thi Thara is very special to me; I dedicated almost eight months to it. Initially, I was told it was a celebration song, and once I understood the lyrics, it felt perfect for expressing my love for Indian culture and music.

My friend and music producer Fridayyy created the melody, and when famous Korean saxophonist Mellow Kitchen heard it, he came on board to collaborate with us. I also wanted a female voice to add a traditional and soulful touch, and when I heard Sireesha’s voice, I knew her voice matched the song beautifully, both in texture and tonality. The song is a beautiful blend of Kerala folk elements with modern pop sounds, reflecting my happiness for India and its rich culture.
