Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows on television, praised for its engaging storyline and strong characters. However, over the past few months, many actors playing pivotal roles in the show have been quitting. Starting with Aashish Mehrotra, who played Toshu, followed by Sudhanshu Pandey, aka Vanraj, and the latest star to leave is Madalsa Sharma, who portrayed Kavya.
With Sudhanshu and Madalsa quitting the show back-to-back, there has been speculation that Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular role, is the main reason behind their decision. It is alleged that the actors are unhappy with the production house's preference for Rupali. Earlier, it was also speculated that Gaurav Khanna, who plays Anuj, had differences with Rupali, and the two were not on speaking terms.
However, both Sudhanshu and Madalsa have dismissed rumours of any differences with Rupali Ganguly and clarified that she was not the reason for their decisions. Madalsa explained that she left the show because she felt her character had lost the "spice or spark" it once had and was no longer engaging, which is why she decided to leave. Similarly, Sudhanshu, who played Vanraj, thanked fans for their continued support and expressed his desire to move on and explore different opportunities.
