Another Met Office yellow weather warning has been issued for parts of Sussex - this time for fog. The Met Office warned Sussex residents that they could face difficult driving conditions amid patchy fog on Thursday morning. The weather warning is the third weather warning in Sussex in less than a week after Storm Bert and Storm Conall wreaked havoc with flooding and snow.

A Met Office spokesman said parts of Sussex could face "patchy fog" which will "result in difficult driving conditions in places during Thursday morning" during the weather warning. The warning includes parts of Sussex north of Steyning and as far east as Uckfield. Coastal areas including Brighton and Worthing and regions around Arundel and Chichester are not affected.

The weather warning area also includes Crawley and Gatwick with the Met Office warning the fog could affect flights. Foggy conditions are expected to last until around 11am this morning. The weather warning was put in place from 12.

15am. Disruption comes after flood alerts and rain weather warnings yesterday during Storm Connall. Multiple roads in Sussex were closed and cars stranded as a result of flood waters.

And at the weekend Storm Bert brought snow and high winds to parts of Sussex with multiple outdoor events cancelled..
