It’s late October once again and Bras for a Cause is readying for its annual fundraising fashion show, under the name Pink-o-Ween, this Saturday at Larkspur Landing Event Center, where a dazzling showcase of colorful bras will take center stage among a big night of auctions, live music, Halloween costume contests, food and fun – all to raise money to help support real people in the area who battle with cancer. “We’re kind of nervous, normally we’re at the opening of pheasant season and we get a big crowd. This year, we’re competing with (Halloween events in Deadwood) so we’re a little nervous about the attendance, but we’re hoping we can still pull off a show,” Amanda Carroll, head of Bras for a Cause, a former Relay for Life organization, told the Capital Journal.
