Anees Bazmee is currently gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated movie – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri starrer is all set to release in cinemas on November 1. In a recent interview, the director revealed how he worked on the film despite a major leg injury.

In a conversation with ETimes, Anees Bazmee revealed that he worked on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 while he had a leg injury. He revealed that he had fractured his leg and had undergone surgery as well. Bazmee said, “One could say I shot the film sitting on one leg (laughs).

About a week or 10 days before the film was set to go on the floor, I had a major fracture in my leg and had to undergo surgery. Though doctors advised me to take bed rest for 4 to 6 months, we had already done all the prep for shooting, and we had announced Diwali as the release date. If I had delayed shooting, we would have missed the date.

He mentioned how he shot half of the film while being seated on a chair. Bazmee said, “I also felt that if I stayed at home, I wouldn’t recover quickly.

My decision to start shooting shocked everyone. I was in a lot of pain, but we pushed through, and I completed more than half of the film while sitting in my chair.” The third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is one of the most anticipat.
