Kate Tomas, the self-described “professional witch” and “spiritual mentor” to Hollywood celebrities, Pulitzer Prize winners and Fortune 500 companies, has denied “horrific accusations” that she used magic to seduce new boyfriend Andrew Garfield. Talking from her remote Welsh cottage, the U.K.

-born witch blasted the Reddit gossip that has arisen since she was first linked to the “Amazing Spider-Man” actor in early April. The gossip about Tomas using magic to entrance Garfield was in part fueled by one of her professional offerings. The apparent sorceress, with “powerful intuitive abilities,” teaches a master seduction class — in addition to charging nearly $2,000 for a 45-minute tarot card reading.

But Tomas, 42, told the Times, she temporarily shut down the master seduction class because of the gossip. True seduction, she also told The Times, “is not about magic spells or manipulation.” “It has got nothing to do with how perfect their teeth are — thank you, Reddit — or whether they conform to conventional standards of beauty,” continued the heavily tattooed Tomas, who is ending her fourth marriage.

“People that are really attractive are full of charisma because they are authentically themselves and confidently anchored in that.” Tomas, who has a PhD in Catholic theology from Oxford, also despaired of the way that “no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship.
