While Robert Downey Jr is gearing up for his return to the MCU as the villain Doctor Doom, an old tape of his audition for the role of Iron Man is making rounds on the internet. All the shots also made it into the final cut of the film but the tape shows how quickly RDJ could transition between Tony Stark's playboy charm and the more serious scenes.

While one scene shows him interacting with a journalist at a Stark launch party (also seen early on in the film), another shows his emotional exchange with supporting character James Rhodes aka War Machine.
