In a video posted by American content creator Jack's Dining Room, the TikTok star taste-tested a breakfast at Bethnal Green spot Pellicci's. Speaking in the video, Jack said: "We're at Pellicci's cafe to eat the most famous English breakfast in all of London." The TikTok star adds that the local restaurant has been open for more than 100 years and is a family-owned bussines.
Sharing what a £16 full English breakfast looks like at Pellicci's, Jack shows a plate with bacon, sausage, baked beans, hashbrowns, black pudding, fried egg, toast, mushrooms and fried tomatoes. Enjoying his breakfast, the TikTok creator adds that he also ordered fried bread which he adds is "literally the number one thing you're doctor tells you not to eat." Reviewing the full English, Jack said: "This is one of those things that when you put everything together, in one bite, it's delicious.
" One aspect of the breakfast the TikTok creator was not a fan of was the "blood sausage" or as Brits call it black pudding. After trying out the full English, Jack left many Brits confused when he then had dessert, sharing: "I guess in England, it's tradition to eat breakfast with dessert" (It's not). Although Jack's taste test was not controversial, the TikTok comments saw a heated debate break out as Brits defended the traditional meal against doubtful Americans.
