AMERICAN Airlines is set to launch nonstop flights from the US to a little piece of paradise. The flights will take place from Miami to Turks and Caicos, which is home to an award-winning beach. Travels will start at two flights per week out of Miami and into Norman B Saunders Airport, according to a release .

The change is set to take place in February of 2025. Turks and Caicos, much like Miami, is known for its breathtaking beaches. It is home to Grace Bay Beach, which has won awards including World Travel Awards’ World’s Leading Beach Destination, according to their website .

The beach has also placed second in Trip Advisor’s World’s Best Beaches. "Over the previous decade, Grace Bay has taken first or second place in these two competitions 19 times," their website reads. Grace Bay is known for its white sands and clear waters that look like a scene from a travel magazine.

It's also home to eco-tourism and other activities to enjoy its natural wonders. The beach was named after Grace Jane Hutchings who was the wife of the Commissioner of the Turks and Caicos between 1933 and 1934. The destination has been fawned over by beach-lovers and is welcomed by the local Minister of Tourism in Turks and Caicos, Josephine Connolly.
