A woman has let fans in on her top hack to banish mould from shower grout without having to scrub for hours. In a video shared to TikTok cleaning fanatic @sisterpledgecleans showed her preferred method for getting the gleam back in her bathroom. The clip showed her targeting some seriously grungy grout with a spray of Astonish mould and mildew buster, following up with a rather innovative step of applying toilet paper onto the area.

She advises: "Use this hack to remove mould and mildew from your grouting. Stick toilet roll to the grouting and saturate with product to make it stick. Leave it overnight then remove.

" Her results spoke volumes as she showed off the silicone strips, which had shed about 90% of their stains post-treatment. People were quick to comment on the clip, with one person writing: "Love this, thank you." Another echoed the sentiment: "I used Domestos last night and left it with tissue all night, it worked.
