Prayagraj: In the general elections of the Allahabad Medical Association (AMA) held on Tuesday, all office bearers were unanimously declared unopposed. In the two annual elections of the association, senior pediatrician Dr JV Rai , was elected president for the year 2024-25, and ENT specialist Dr Ashok Kumar Mishra was elected president for the year 2025-2026. Among other office bearers, Dr Ashutosh Gupta was elected secretary, and Dr Santosh Singh was elected for post of joint secretary.
The oath-taking ceremony of the elected office bearers will be held on Oct 19. tnn.
