Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Tuesday praised India’s growing global influence and the strategic partnership between Italy and India following her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Meloni emphasized that both nations aim to strengthen their partnership, not only for mutual benefit but also in support of shared values such as democracy, the rule of law, and sustainable development.
PM Modi also expressed his enthusiasm for the growing friendship between the two countries, particularly noting the progress made in sectors such as defence, security, trade, and technology.
