This Morning host Alison Hammond has made a dig about her own love life, following recent engagement rumours. The 49-year-old presenter's current partner is masseur David Putman, who is 22 years her junior. Back in May, the pair found themselves at the centre of engagement rumours after she was spotted with a diamond on her ring finger, while hosting the show.

Shutting down the claims live on air, she said: "Let me swap it over, because we don't want those rumours going out there, do you know what I mean? "Not just yet," she added. "Maybe one day, who knows." Now, ahead of her return to the programme next week, Alison said her friendship with Dermot O'Leary has been her most lengthy relationship so far.

After being told that the pair have been presenting the show for three years together, she said: "It's the longest relationship I've ever been in!" In the same interview with Woman Magazine, Dermot added: "It does feel like those three years have gone so quickly, but at the same time, like we've been together forever!" Alison went public with her romance earlier this year in an Instagram post and despite recent split rumours, they still seem to be going strong. On the Parenting Hell podcast with Rob Beckett, she also addressed what it was like to date while being a parent to 19-year-old son Aiden. She shared: "I think it's more difficult.

"I think he's more verbal now that he's older, he will wanna to know who this person is and he'll want to meet them...

it's a lot harder, ye.
