About ‘Romulus’ Helmed by Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Alvarez, ‘Alien: Romulus’ is a science fiction horror film that follows the journey of three siblings, who come across bloodthirsty creatures when they attempt to scavenge an empty space station. The movie is set sometime in 2142. The central figures in the story are a group of colonists in their twenties, stuck in monotonous and unrewarding mining jobs on a bleak, sunless planet.

Among the cast are Archie Renaux, Isabella Merced, Aileen Wu, and Spike Fearn, but the characters that will truly capture attention are the resilient Rain, portrayed with steely elegance by Cailee Spaeny ( Priscilla ), and her socially awkward adoptive brother, Andy, brought to life with delicate subtlety by David Jonsson ( Rye Lane ). These weary workers toil away for years, awaiting their chance to relocate.
