Alex Yee celebrates as he crosses the line in Boston (Image: Supertri) British Olympic gold medallist Alex Yee once again emerged as the victor in a thrilling showdown against arch-rival Hayden Wilde, besting him in the final moments of their latest triathlon. In what was a repeat of last month's splendid performance in Paris, the 26-year-old Yee snatched the win at Sunday's supertri in Boston with a very late sprint to cross the line first. As he did so, Yee copied Cole Palmer's iconic 'cold' celebration which left New Zealand's Wilde visibly exasperated at the finish line.

The Great Britain sensation crossed the line with folded arms but unlike at the Olympics, when Wilde sat down with Yee to congratulate him, there was only a look of bemusement this time. function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.createElement('script');el.
