BBC One presenter Alex Jones has shared her favourite pieces to wear this autumn for transitional dressing and fans said it's "comfort clothing with class". The 47-year-old partnered with British retailer Cotton Traders and picked out several pieces perfect for layering and refreshing your wardrobe with classy neutrals and rich seasonal shades. With prices starting from £35, shoppers can choose from a Boho-chic maxi dress to keep them a breeze in muggy weather or get snuggly with a cosy jumper in calming powder pink when it's chilly in the evenings.

Sharing on Instagram, Alex looked stunning as she modelled her autumn edit. She put on a cream Double Breasted Boucle Jacket on top of a navy grey crewneck T-shirt and black straight leg jeans. The tweed pattern on the jacket, along with the gold buttons, makes the outerwear more expensive than its price tag, which is £69.

Then she changed into another smart-casual office look but she opted for a bright lilac wool-look coat to brighten the day. The new seasonal colourway is ready for the season ahead and it comes in a soft and sumptuous fabric that feels like wool but has the added bonus of being easy to care for and machine-washable. It goes well with black bottoms but try it with your favourite jeans and trainers to give your weekend wardrobe a bit of an edge.

When it comes to autumn, many of us will instantly think of trench coats - so does Alex, that's why she included this Mock Suede Trench Coat in her autumn edit. Fans spo.
