Alec Baldwin has made his first red carpet appearance after his Rust shooting case was dismissed. The Hollywood actor fired a prop gun while filming the movie Rust in October 2021, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins . Baldwin insists the incident was an accident and said he was unaware the prop had live bullets loaded .

On the third day of court proceedings earlier this month on July 12, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer dropped the charge against the 66-year-old and dismissed the case with prejudice, leading Baldwin to break down in tears. This dismissal came after Baldwin's defence team argued that crucial evidence had been concealed by the prosecution. And now Alec has made his first red carpet appearance since the dismissal, with the Cat in the Hat actor stepping out with his wife, Hilaria, by his side.

Alec and Hilaria attended the HamptonsFilm SummerDocs screening of War Game this week. The famous actor looked smart and slick as he posed on the red carpet with his wife. He wore some dark grey trousers, with a light blue shirt and a black blazer.
