I don't even like thinking about the last time we ordered a fried chicken takeaway and how much we got for our money. The price of it and other fast foods has shot up and, with shoppers still feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis, it's becoming a very rare treat. So, with Aldi launching a new Roosters southern fried chicken range, it's hardly surprising that it's going down a storm with shoppers.

There's a massive range available in stores, with prices starting from 79p for sides like coleslaw, up to £3.99 for an 800g tub of Southern Fried Chicken Thighs and Drums.
