Albufeira’s Blue Ocean Hotel opens in July, adding 350 rooms and linking to Porto Bay Falésia for a 660-room resort. The Porto Bay group is gearing up to launch its latest property, Blue Ocean, in Albufeira this coming July. The new hotel will add 350 rooms to the locale, linking to the nearby Porto Bay Falésia, which currently houses 310 rooms.

Combined, they will form a resort complex totaling 660 rooms, making it the largest in the Algarve.António Trindade, a key figure at Porto Bay, highlighted that this venture is set to be the biggest investment in Portugal for 2024, with a budget of around 130 million euros. He noted that while the two hotels will be interconnected, each will cater to a different demographic; Falésia will continue to focus on sports enthusiasts, whereas Blue Ocean will primarily attract those seeking leisure.

Additionally, the group is focusing on another significant project, a five-star boutique hotel in the Old Town of Funchal. Located in the historical heart of Madeira’s capital, construction on this elegant establishment is already underway. The post Albufeira Marks A New Era Of Hospitality With The Opening Of Porto Bay’s Blue Ocean Hotel, A Resort Of Grand Proportions appeared first on Travel And Tour World.
