Tuesday, October 1, 2024 Alaska Airlines is launching five new nonstop routes, offering more travel options for passengers. Starting today, travelers can fly between Las Vegas and both San Diego and Santa Rosa/Sonoma County, as well as between Los Angeles and Pasco, Washington, and Reno. Additionally, the nonstop service between Portland and Atlanta is resuming, providing even more convenience for passengers.

“Travel demand continues to be strong, and we are excited to provide our guests with more options for their next business trip or autumn getaway,” said Kirsten Amrine , vice president of revenue management and network planning at Alaska Airlines. “With the addition of these new nonstop routes, we also continue to strengthen our presence throughout the state of California and connect Pacific Northwest communities with our broader network.” Strengthening Connections with Our Los Angeles Hub Alaska Airlines is proud to expand its presence at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the addition of two new flights, solidifying our position as the top airline offering the most daily flights to West Coast destinations from LAX.

We’re excited to reintroduce our popular Los Angeles to Reno route, now operating twice daily. Plus, passengers from Pasco can enjoy a new nonstop flight to LAX, with service offered once daily. Both routes will be flown on our Embraer 175 jet, known for its comfortable window and aisle seating configuration—no middle seats in sight.
