Alan Jones has been hit with another two charges of indecent assault. The 83-year-old was arrested on Monday morning following a months-long investigation into alleged historical offences at the height of his broadcast career. It is alleged Jones used his position of power to prey on males, which allegedly included groping or inappropriately touching them without their consent.

NSW Police confirmed on Tuesday the former Wallabies coach has been charged with an extra two counts of assault with act of indecency relating to ninth alleged victim. Jones has strenuously denied the allegations. It comes after the veteran broadcaster was charged on Monday with 24 historical indecent assault and sexual touching charges against eight victims.

The former 2GB host now faces 11 counts of aggravated indecent assault - victim under authority of offender, 11 counts of assault with act of indecency, two counts of sexually touch another person without consent and two counts of common assault. Detectives had flagged more alleged victims would likely come forward. NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Michael Fitzgerald told the media the alleged victims have given their statements and are aware they will go through the courts.

The arrest of Jones comes following a Nine Newspapers investigation which saw more alleged victims come forward, while others had already been assisting investigators. The ex Wallabies coach was granted conditional bail, which included surrendering his passport and not being .
