AN AIRPORT in the UK has launched new winter flights for Brits hoping to escape for a holiday later in the year. From 21 December passengers will have access to the first ski route directly available from Cardiff since winter 2019/20. Some of the best ski resorts in the world including Val d'Isère and La Plagne can be found nearby. Whilst Chambéry itself has been described as a quaint region - rich with history and culture due to its medieval old town and variety of museums.
