Tuesday, August 20, 2024 airBaltic expands its reach in Europe with new Captain roles and crew bases, enhancing its operations and offering exciting opportunities for aviation professionals. airBaltic is actively recruiting Senior First Officers with a quick path to command on Airbus A220-300 aircraft. For professionals who are hired for either role and join airBaltic between September 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, the airline offers a sign-up bonus of EUR 15,000 gross for Captains and EUR 10,000 gross for Senior First Officers.
Additionally, as airBaltic expands its presence across the Baltic States, the airline is set to open new crew bases in Tallinn, Estonia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, beginning November 1, 2024. For the upcoming summer season, temporary bases will also be established in Munich, Germany, Vienna, Austria, and Brussels, Belgium. Moreover, starting in January next year, airBaltic will introduce a salary increase and enhanced crew rosters, providing more days off for both pilots and cabin crew.
