Tuesday, August 13, 2024 airBaltic expands its network with a new Vilnius-Düsseldorf route, enhancing connectivity and solidifying its position as a leading Baltic airline. Latvian airline airBaltic has announced further expansion in Vilnius with a new route to Düsseldorf, Germany. Starting October 31, 2024, the cities will be connected twice weekly, year-round.

This marks the fourth direct destination from Vilnius to Germany, alongside existing routes to Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg. The new route is part of a risk-sharing collaboration between airBaltic and Lithuanian Airports, their third partnership of this kind.
