Friday, August 23, 2024 airBaltic proudly announces the successful completion of its naming contest, honoring Baltic cities by naming 48 Airbus A220-300 aircraft after them. airBaltic, the Latvian national airline, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its special naming contest, inviting participants to name 48 aircraft from its Airbus A220-300 fleet after cherished cities in Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. This contest, organized in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way, garnered widespread attention and engagement from both the Baltic States and the international community.

Running from August 5 to August 22, the contest received an impressive response, accumulating over one million votes.
