Wednesday, August 14, 2024 AirAsia is set to expand its network to India from Malaysia with the introduction of a new route to Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India, reinforcing its position as a top low-cost carrier in the region. This new route, AirAsia’s shortest to India, also marks a significant milestone as the airline becomes the first to offer international flights to Port Blair within the ASEAN region. Beginning on 16 November 2024, AirAsia will operate three weekly flights to this picturesque island, making it the airline’s 17th destination in India.
