Saturday, January 25, 2025 Direct flights connecting Belgrade to several key Croatian coastal cities will launch this summer, offering a boost to travel options between Serbia and Croatia. According to Morski, Air Serbia’s summer schedule will cover major Croatian cities such as Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, with an uptick in flight frequencies during the high season. Year-round flights between Belgrade and Zagreb will continue as usual.
During the summer months, the number of direct flights between Belgrade and the Croatian coast is expected to rise steadily, reaching its peak during July and August, when demand is at its highest. For the Belgrade-Pula route, which will operate from late May to mid-October, Air Serbia plans to offer four weekly flights. As the season progresses, flights will taper off, and the ATR72 aircraft will serve passengers traveling to the Istrian peninsula.
From June through September, Air Serbia will introduce direct flights to Rijeka and Zadar, with two flights per week to Rijeka and three flights per week to Zadar. These routes will maintain a consistent flight schedule over the summer, with no significant changes in the frequency of rotations. The Belgrade-Split route will operate from early May to late October, with flight frequencies increasing to six per week from mid-June to mid-September to meet summer demand.
Outside of the peak months, flight frequencies will decrease. Air Serbia will deploy A319 aircraft for the Split route.
