Wednesday, September 25, 2024 Air France recently participated in the IFTM Top Resa trade fair, a pivotal event in the tourism industry, following the excitement of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The trade fair, held in Paris from September 17 to 19, provided Air France with a platform to engage with over 200 existing and potential partners, including travel agencies and corporate clients. The airline showcased its Bluebiz product, aimed at enhancing business travel solutions for companies.

Key highlights of the event included the unveiling of Air France’s winter schedule for 2024-2025. Henri Hourcade, Senior Vice President France at Air France-KLM, announced that the airline will serve nearly 170 destinations across 73 countries, with five new locations: Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), Manila (Philippines), Malé (Maldives), and Kiruna (Sweden). Notably, with three weekly flights to Manila alongside KLM’s service, Air France-KLM will offer daily flights to the Philippines, a unique offering in the airline industry.

The company is also expanding its network in North America, particularly to Denver and Phoenix, to enhance winter season service. Air France further strengthened its global connectivity by signing a new interline cooperation agreement with Madagascar Airlines, effective October 1, 2024. This follows a recent partnership with SAS that offers Air France and KLM customers access to 33 new destinations in Northern Europe.
