Friday, August 23, 2024 Air Astana, the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, is set to enhance its connectivity to one of Southeast Asia’s most sought-after destinations, Phuket, Thailand. Starting from October 26, 2024, the airline will launch a new direct service from Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, to Phuket, Thailand’s largest and most famous resort island. This move will significantly bolster the airline’s presence in the Southeast Asian market and provide travelers with more convenient options to reach this tropical paradise.

The new service between Astana and Phuket will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The outbound flight is scheduled to depart from Astana at 21:40 local time and will arrive in Phuket at 07:45 the following morning, ensuring travelers arrive refreshed and ready to enjoy the island’s beauty. The return flight from Phuket is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, departing at 09:30 and arriving back in Astana at 16:10 local time.

The total flight duration is approximately 8 hours and 5 minutes on the outbound leg and 8 hours and 40 minutes on the return leg, offering a convenient and efficient travel experience. Enhanced Almaty to Phuket Service In addition to the new Astana route, Air Astana is also increasing the frequency of its existing Almaty to Phuket service. Currently operating five times a week, this popular route will transition to a daily service starting on October 26, 2024.
