With Afternoon Tea Week just around the corner, from August 12 to August 18, a historic venue is inviting guests to try its afternoon tea experience. Lainston House near offers a selection of scones, finger sandwiches, and pastries, complemented by a range of fine teas. The afternoon tea experience takes place among the scenic surroundings of the 17th century country house.
Executive chef Philip Yeomans has curated an adult and children's menu to cater to family outings. Standout dishes include tomato and onion bruschetta with balsamic glaze, and dark chocolate and raspberry ganache with lemon sable. Lainston House's afternoon tea is available from Monday to Saturday, 2pm to 5pm, and on Sunday, 1pm to 5pm, throughout the year.
