On a summer Friday in East Hampton, Aerin Lauder, Emilia Wickstead, and Over The Moon founder Alexandra Macon hosted a bridal and registry-themed shopping event and dinner at Lauder’s home. After near-endless rain from Tropical Storm Debby, the skies parted for an idyllic day of trying on Emilia Wickstead’s ready-to-wear bridal and Pre-Fall 2024 collections, as well as shopping and adding Aerin pieces to Over The Moon registries . Guests sipped on various spritzes and Wölffer “Summer in A Bottle” rosé and nibbled on flower-pressed cookies from Acquolina Catering , while touring the house—which was once owned by Aerin’s grandmother Estée and features a living room whose décor is relatively unchanged since then—shopping, and talking about all things weddings.

After a short break, dinner guests gathered at 6:30 p.m. for cocktails.

Event planner Augusta Cole expertly layered the tablescape with pieces—some things old and some things new—from Lauder’s personal collection, including petite silver and raffia vessels filled with dainty summer florals from The Bridgehampton Florist . The ambiance was made complete with the soft glow of Aerin’s perfectly scaled Milla Hurricane glasses. The evening’s delectable menu was illustrated by Laura Lines Calligraphy and seamlessly matched the Lisa Fine Textiles tablecloth.
