THE cause of death of adult film star Sophia Leone has been revealed, five months after she was found unresponsive in her apartment. Leone's death has reportedly been ruled an accidental overdose. Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, allegedly reported that Leone, 26, suffered from an accidental overdose, according to TMZ.

They made this discovery by examining toxicology reports. The adult film star was found unresponsive in her apartment in March earlier this year. Leone's death was confirmed by her stepfather Mike Romero via GoFundMe earlier this year.

"Sophia was found unresponsive in her apartment home on March 1, 2024 by her family," he wrote at the time. Leone reportedly began her career as an adult film star before the age of 20. Reports have suggested she had a net worth of over a million dollars.

Leone was from Miami, Florida, and supposedly joined the adult film industry after being scouted at a festival. She was discovered by an agent at a music festival in Miami and reportedly decided to take the offer after doing some research. Her modeling agency, 101 Modeling, spoke out at the time of her death.

"Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone," the modeling account (@101modelinginc) wrote on X. "A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. "RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you," they said.

Leone's passing, however, had previously been reported as a "suspicious death," according to her agent. A report by The U.S.
