HYBE Labels has appointed a new CEO for ADOR, after Min Hee Jin was "dismissed." According to a report on Soompi, the record label that's managing K-Pop girl group NewJeans has appointed Human Resources expert Kim Joo Young as its new CEO. Hee Jin meanwhile will remain in the company as an internal director and will continue to act as the executive producer for NewJeans.
“ADOR’s internal organization will now separate production and management. This is in line with the multi-label operation principle that has consistently been applied to all other labels," read a portion of ADOR's statement, which noted that ADOR "been an exception where the CEO oversaw both production and management.” Following the ADOR's announcement, Hee Jin revealed through a representative that "the decision was made to dismiss CEO Min Hee Jin was made unilaterally without her consent, which is a clear violation of the shareholder agreement.
