Singaporean actress Rebecca Lim celebrates her 38th birthday with her husband Matthew Webster and their son, who was born in January. SINGAPORE – Singaporean actress Rebecca Lim has celebrated her first birthday as a mother. The Third Rail (2022) actress, who turned 38 on Sept 26, posted photos of her birthday celebration with her loved ones on the same day.
In the photos, Lim sports a white dress and carries her son while her husband Matthew Webster wraps her in his arms. The couple celebrated with two cakes – one with a pink bow and another one adorned with flowers from The Floral Atelier and a big sparkler candle. The gathering was also attended by Lim’s close friends, including her long-time make-up artist Shaun Lee, her hairstylist Dexter Ng, and founder of wedding planning and floral design studios The Wedding Atelier and The Floral Atelier, Ms Lelian Chew.
Lee is also the godfather of Lim’s son. Lim gave birth to her son – whose name she has declined to reveal to the media – on Jan 30 and has yet to return to acting. Her last project was the psychological horror movie Confinement (2023).
She wrote in her post: “So incredibly blessed. Thank you for all the birthday wishes.” Mr Webster, a 38-year-old Singaporean of British-Chinese descent who works in corporate branding, also posted a picture of the celebration on Sept 26.
He wrote: “Happy birthday to my dearest, wonderful love. I don’t know where I’d be today without you.” The couple tied the kno.
