A Brampton woman accused of committing luxury car thefts in Toronto and Mississauga has been granted bail in both jurisdictions. Toronto court records show that she was released on bail Tuesday after a string of conditions were attached including her sureties promising to put up $3,000 to secure her release and her being barred from driving or possessing vehicle keys while she’s out on bail. Her Toronto release came a day after she was granted bail in a Peel court on a string of separate charges she’s facing in that jurisdiction.

She was granted bail in a Brampton court Monday, only to be immediately detained and charged by Toronto police, police say. It was noted during her Toronto bail hearing that the Toronto conditions are akin to those levied against her earlier in Brampton court for an alleged car theft she’s accused of committing in Mississauga. During her Toronto bail hearing, the 18-year-old woman was ordered to reside at her sureties’ Brampton address and to avoid communicating with two alleged Toronto victims.

She’s barred from possessing any form of car keys and can only ride in a vehicle as a passenger, while it is being operated by the registered owner. She is also barred from being within 200 metres of two Toronto addresses.
