Wednesday, August 28, 2024 Accor expands across Australia with over 40 hotel partnerships and 5,500 rooms, while partners invest $450 million in transformative property upgrades. Accor, the leading hotel operator in Australia, has extended its partnerships with over 40 hotels, totaling 5,500 rooms, throughout the country. This move highlights the Group’s robust collaborations with some of Australia’s premier hotel proprietors.

Since early 2022, Accor Pacific partners have poured over $450 million into upgrading and modernizing their properties. Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PM&E, Adrian Williams, said : “This significant investment is a direct commitment to our brands. It is a clear and strong affirmation of our partners’ confidence and trust in the quality and value of our brands.

” Accor has celebrated its 40th partnership renewal by securing a long-term franchise agreement with Silversea Investments. This deal will lead to substantial renovations at Novotel Sydney Parramatta and Mercure Sydney Parramatta, which will be rebranded as Novotel Sydney Rosehill upon completion. Managed by Trilogy Hotels, these properties are set to gain increased significance with the ongoing infrastructure developments in Parramatta and the upcoming Western Sydney Airport, scheduled to open in 2026.

The Sunshine Coast’s top five-star destination, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, has renewed its partnership with Accor for its flagship Sofitel property. The resort will soon reveal.
