: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) summoned several mining department officials for questioning in connection with alleged irregularities that occurred in sand mining over the last five years under the ousted YSRC government in the state. The ACB summoned the officials to appear before it today. The ACB, which has been cracking down on officials who allegedly conducted large-scale irregularities during the previous YSRC government, has focused on the former Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation managing director Venkat Reddy who is accused of encouraging the JP Ventures contracting agency to carry out sand mining activities illegally at various locations in the state.
