A WOMAN has proved you don't need to fork out a fortune to give your home a jaw-dropping makeover. Like many of us, Kirsty Gore has been spending this summer renovating her home, whether that's zhuzhing up her garden or checking out B&M for some goodies. One of her most recent projects was making an affordable - yet gorgeous - feature wall in the hallway, the process of which she shared on TikTok.

Before the epic transformation, the bare walls by the stairs looked dull and lacking the character the rest of the house seemed to have. But after a trip to B&Q and ordering bits from Amazon , crafty Kirsty managed to give the space a totally new look. To achieve the stunning glow-up, the DIY whizz first measured the white wooden mouldings and used a mitre saw once she was happy with the measurements and the layout.

Next, the talented beauty attached the mouldings to the wall with the help of No More Nails adhesive, which you can find at Tesco for a budget-friendly £4.50. To ensure there were no teeny gaps, the DIY fanatic also went in with a bit of filler around the edges, before adding a no-wire light in the centre.

According to Kirsty, who regularly shares home-related content on her page , she'd found this on Amazon for £39.99 - and the light is also rechargeable. ''POV: Small changes can make a big difference,'' the craft whizz said in the video .

''It’s in the small details! ''My most recent diys - but together! One on the stairs wall in the hallway and one on a small wall.
