AN IRISH mum-of-three has tragically died on a family holiday in Spain after suddenly falling ill. Regina Cullinane, 40, from Donoughmore in Cork , was on the first day of her trip when she become unwell and died unexpectedly on Tuesday. The local community has been left heartbroken by the tragic news and have rallied together to support her devastated family.

Arrangements are being made to bring the mum-of-three home and a fundraiser has been launched to help with the cost of repatriating her. Announcing her sad passing, local Facebook page, Donoughmore Diary, paid tribute to Gina. They wrote: "Tragic news in Donoughmore that a young local lady, Gina Cullinane, has passed away unexpectedly in Spain .

"If you can assist her family in meeting the cost of bringing her home please click on the link . "May she rest in peace." A message on the GoFundMe page, which lists the Cullinane family as the organiser, reads: "Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in raising funds to support the Cullinane family in bringing home their beloved Gina following her tragic passing in Spain this morning.

" The page was set up with the target of raising €10,000. However, that goal has already been shattered multiple times with in excess of €40,000 already donated. Friends and neighbours have paid tribute to the "lovely" young woman with a "smile and laugh.
