Above the Barre Dance & Gymnastics Academy has a new location. Last week, the McDowell Chamber of Commerce and the Marion Business Association celebrated the new location. It is now in a building in the Pleasant Gardens community that used to be an antique store.
The new location is 1904 U.S. Highway 70 W.
, across the road from Camping World of Marion, according to information from the Marion Business Association. Last week, the McDowell Chamber of Commerce and the Marion Business Association celebrated the new location for Above the Barre Dance & Gymnastics Academy. In the center are owner Erin Nanney, her husband Heath and daughter Barrett.
The owners are surrounded by students and parents. The building went through renovations for its conversion into a dance and gymnastics studio. “The building renovations are incredible,” reads a Facebook post from the Marion Business Association.
“What a beautiful place it is! The perfect spot for dancing and gymnastics. Make sure you check them out.” Above the Barre is owned by Erin Nanney.
She said her studio offers two large dance rooms, along with a separate gymnastics space. She has seven employees. This is the staff of Above the Barre Dance & Gymnastics Academy at 1904 U.
