Tajikistani social media influencer Abdu Rozik called off his wedding with fiancée Amira over cultural differences. The decision was made public only four months after the ex-couple announced their engagement on social media. The wedding was supposed to be hosted in July, however, the duo initially postponed the ceremony with media reports citing Abdu’s boxing debut to be the reason behind the delay.

But now the Tajikistani influencer has publicly confirmed the couple was struggling in the relationship. When it became apparent that their wedding wouldn’t go as planned, Abdu said he felt an overwhelming mix of emotions. “When I first realized the wedding had to be cancelled, there was sadness, disappointment, and even a sense of failure.

It's never easy to accept that something you have been planning for, dreaming about, and working towards won’t come to fruition," he told Hindustan Times. A post shared by Abduroziq Official (@abdu_rozik) The trouble in paradise arose from cultural differences which both Abdu and Amira noticed as their relationship progressed. “We found ourselves struggling to bridge certain gaps, and I started to feel the weight of these issues in our future together.

Ultimately, I knew that entering into a marriage with unresolved cultural differences would only lead to greater challenges," he continued. While elaborating on Amira’s reaction to the breakup, Abdu revealed she took it “very hard.” The ex-couple was subjected to brutal trollin.
