They were co-stars in Rajkumar Santoshi's critically acclaimed film 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1994). Aamir Khan has now dropped hints that the two may work again after 30 years.

The rumour mill began spinning when Aamir Khan's production company responded to a Salman Khan tweet from 2010 on X (Twitter). "I didn't let Aamir touch me after the film. Agar mujhe gold mein badal deta toh???," Salman said in the original 2010 post, making a playful allusion to the 2010 film ‘Peepli Live’, which was produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

Salman made this comment in regard to Peepli Live, which he praised the most upon its premiere and bestowed the title of "Mr. Midas touch" onto Aamir. Reacting to Salman's tweet, Aamir Khan Productions said, "We think about this a lot.
