A Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton was left stunned over a buyer's reaction to one property during the latest instalment Laura Hamilton, the host of A Place in the Sun, certainly had her hands full on the latest episode when a house hunter walked out of a property viewing. On Monday's (September 16) episode of the Channel 4 programme, Laura was tasked with helping Paul and his best mate Tina search for the ideal holiday home in Benalmadena. Paul was keen to find the perfect Spanish getaway to share with his husband Shaun, who wasn't able to make the trip.

But things went south quickly as soon as Paul set foot inside the first property Laura had lined up. Displeased by both the smell and appearance, Paul made it clear that he wasn't interested in putting effort into renovations. A stunned Laura, attempting to keep her composure after his blunt assessment, quipped: "Silence.

That's not a good sign!" to which an unequivocal Paul responded: "It's not for me!" When asked if he wanted to stick around to see more, Paul opted to exit. Laura, trying to hide her shock, managed to utter: "I'm surprised, " reports the Mirror . The dramatic exit didn't go unnoticed by viewers, who took to social media to chime in.

One spectator remarked: "I absolutely knew he wasn't going to like that. For his decent budget, that looked sh**e." (sic).

Echoing the sentiment, another fan commented: "Hi all, late in today. Sounds like Laura's got off to a good start if they wouldn't even look round .
