Cebu City – An exclusive celebration of top-tier wine and culinary excellence took place at Huangdi, NUSTAR Resort Cebu, on August 3, 2024. Special guests enjoyed a bespoke menu crafted by Chef Martin Rebolledo, Executive Chef at NUSTAR Resort. This meticulously designed food selection was intended to harmoniously complement the outstanding wines of Billecart-Salmon and Château Malherbe, offering a truly elevated culinary experience with remarkable dishes.

With the help of the upscale Manila-based wine shop CORK, the event featured Mr. Sebastien Papin, Champagne Billecart-Salmon’s Asia Pacific Director, who helped guests foster a deeper appreciation for wine. “ ,” Papin said as he introduced the brand to the attendees.

The event began with the refined Billecart Brut Reserve, which perfectly complemented a dish of abalone served with porcini and morel craqueline, enhanced by a delicate white truffle mascarpone. The tasting continued with the crisp and elegant Billecart Brut Nature, accompanied by a sophisticated mille feuille of shrimps and caviar. Guests were then treated to the Billecart 2016 Vintage, paired with a refreshing scallop ceviche featuring calamansi citrus, dried scallops, and coriander dust.
